Junto a ella, en el norte, se encuentra Colombia, al este y al sur est\u00e1 Per\u00fa, y al oeste, el Oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Clima y mejor \u00e9poca para visitar<\/h3>\n<div><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/water.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2583\" width=\"411\" height=\"341\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ecuador tiene caracter\u00edsticas geogr\u00e1ficas muy particulares debido a su posici\u00f3n en el planeta y, debido a estas, existe una gran diversidad de climas y microclimas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El pa\u00eds est\u00e1 atravesado, de norte a sur, por dos ramas de la Cordillera de los Andes: la Cordillera Oriental y la Cordillera Occidental. Entre estas dos ramas, se encuentra el callej\u00f3n interandino. Adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1 atravesada por la l\u00ednea equinoccial y, al estar en la mitad del mundo, las corrientes marinas tambi\u00e9n tienen una gran influencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entonces, todas estas caracter\u00edsticas hacen que Ecuador tenga diversos climas y microclimas tanto por latitud como por altitud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por esta raz\u00f3n, cuando nos preguntan cu\u00e1ndo es el mejor momento para venir a Ecuador, la respuesta m\u00e1s com\u00fan que escuchar\u00e1n es \"depende\"; Si quieres venir a las monta\u00f1as (Andes), ten en cuenta que, en general, tiene un clima lluvioso y fr\u00edo de noviembre a abril y seco de mayo a octubre y su temperatura est\u00e1 entre 13 y 18 grados cent\u00edgrados. Como ves, todo \"depende\".<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Idioma<\/h3>\n<div><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/lenguaje.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2585\" width=\"411\" height=\"341\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El idioma oficial en Ecuador es el espa\u00f1ol, un idioma adoptado desde la conquista espa\u00f1ola de esta parte de Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hoy en d\u00eda, tambi\u00e9n hay otras lenguas que se consideran segundas y terceras lenguas oficiales respectivamente: el kichwa (hablado por casi el 7% de la poblaci\u00f3n en su mayor\u00eda por los grupos ind\u00edgenas en las tierras altas y parte de la Amazon\u00eda), y el shuar (hablado por la comunidad shuar en la regi\u00f3n sureste de la Amazon\u00eda).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La mayor\u00eda de los hablantes de kichwa y shuar podr\u00e1n entender y hablar espa\u00f1ol, pero muy pocos (especialmente los m\u00e1s viejos) no podr\u00e1n entender. Adem\u00e1s, algunos hablantes nativos de kichwa, especialmente en la regi\u00f3n de Otavalo, pueden hablar otros idiomas como ingl\u00e9s, franc\u00e9s o alem\u00e1n, principalmente los que trabajan directamente con los turistas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Poblaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<div><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/population.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2588\" width=\"411\" height=\"341\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La poblaci\u00f3n del Ecuador es de 17.511.000 habitantes, divididos casi en un 50% de mujeres y un 50% de hombres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La poblaci\u00f3n se divide aproximadamente en 85% mestizos, 10% ind\u00edgenas, 3% negros y 2% blancos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ecuador es un Estado que reconoce la diversidad de su poblaci\u00f3n, representando 14 nacionalidades ind\u00edgenas que tienen su propia lengua, territorio y tradiciones reconocidas y respetadas en la Constituci\u00f3n de 2008.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Debido a la situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica que atraviesan algunos pa\u00edses vecinos y dado que en Ecuador su moneda oficial es el d\u00f3lar estadounidense, muchas personas ven en el pa\u00eds una oportunidad para mejorar su situaci\u00f3n, lo que ha provocado mucha migraci\u00f3n en 381.507 personas que provienen principalmente de Colombia, Per\u00fa, Venezuela y Estados Unidos (esto \u00faltimo porque Ecuador es considerado uno de los lugares favoritos para los jubilados estadounidenses debido a su buen clima, tranquilidad, amabilidad de la gente y bajo costo de vida).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Divisa<\/h3>\n<div><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/moneda.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2589\" width=\"368\" height=\"339\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el a\u00f1o 1822, el 24 de mayo, tuvo lugar la hist\u00f3rica Batalla de Pichincha en las laderas del volc\u00e1n del mismo nombre, al oeste de Quito. Criollos (quite\u00f1os) y espa\u00f1oles (Ej\u00e9rcito Real) se enfrentaron y finalmente, Quito (ahora Ecuador) gan\u00f3 su independencia de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El militar a cargo de esa batalla se llamaba Antonio Jos\u00e9 de Sucre, un h\u00e9roe reconocido en todas las naciones que Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar ayud\u00f3 a independizar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sucre es un nombre muy importante en Ecuador, tanto es as\u00ed que su moneda oficial adopt\u00f3 ese nombre en 1884 y se mantuvo durante 116 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A partir de 1992, comenz\u00f3 una gran devaluaci\u00f3n de la moneda frente al d\u00f3lar estadounidense, comenzando en aproximadamente 3.000 sucres por 1 d\u00f3lar. En 1998 comenz\u00f3 una gran crisis econ\u00f3mica en Ecuador que gener\u00f3 una gran inflaci\u00f3n, la quiebra de algunos bancos importantes, una ola migratoria de ecuatorianos hacia Espa\u00f1a y, finalmente, la mayor ca\u00edda de 25.000 sucres por 1 d\u00f3lar. El Presidente en ese momento tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n de adoptar el d\u00f3lar estadounidense como la moneda oficial que generar\u00eda estabilidad econ\u00f3mica despu\u00e9s de tantos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahora, si vienes a Ecuador, puedes hacerlo con tus d\u00f3lares estadounidenses con tranquilidad y el sucre ya no existe excepto en los museos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Religi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<div><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/religion.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2591\" width=\"368\" height=\"339\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan el instituto de estad\u00edsticas de Ecuador, 8 de cada 10 ecuatorianos que dicen tener una afiliaci\u00f3n religiosa son cat\u00f3licos. El resto tiene afiliaciones con otras religiones como los testigos de Jehov\u00e1, el budismo, el juda\u00edsmo, el hinduismo, el islam y los ateos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan otras fuentes, estos ser\u00edan los porcentajes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">80.4% Cat\u00f3licos<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">11,3% protestante<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">1.29% Testigos de Jehov\u00e1<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">6.96% Otros o ninguno<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es importante destacar que la moral en Ecuador se rige en gran medida por los valores predicados por la religi\u00f3n cat\u00f3lica, por lo que podr\u00eda decirse que, a pesar de haber sido declarada Estado Laico desde principios de 1895 con la Revoluci\u00f3n Liberal, la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica a\u00fan tiene una gran influencia en el comportamiento de los ecuatorianos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Gobierno<\/h3>\n<div><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/gobierno.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2593\" width=\"368\" height=\"339\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ecuador (Real Audiencia de Quito, en 1822) cumple 200 a\u00f1os tras ser declarado independiente de Espa\u00f1a y 192 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de formarse como rep\u00fablica. Es un tipo de gobierno democr\u00e1tico en el que el voto de las autoridades es obligatorio para todos los ciudadanos alfabetizados entre las edades de 18 y 65 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la historia del pa\u00eds ha habido 55 presidentes y estos son elegidos cada 4 a\u00f1os (en teor\u00eda), as\u00ed como los representantes de la Asamblea (antes Congreso) y otros representantes del Poder Ejecutivo y Judicial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La pol\u00edtica en Ecuador es multipartidista y la Asamblea est\u00e1 formada por representantes de varios de estos partidos y movimientos pol\u00edticos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Regiones y caracter\u00edsticas geogr\u00e1ficas<\/h3>\n<div><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/region.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2595\" width=\"411\" height=\"341\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La posici\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica y la presencia de los Andes, hacen que Ecuador cuente con 4 grandes regiones que son: Costa, Sierra (Andes), Amazon\u00eda, y Gal\u00e1pagos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dentro de estas 4 regiones, hay varias microrregiones con sus propios climas, especies de plantas, animales, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, al estar en la mitad del mundo, en el Oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico, las diferentes grandes corrientes marinas se encuentran en las costas del Ecuador y generan un movimiento de temperaturas propicio para la vida microsc\u00f3pica de la que se alimentan grandes peces y mam\u00edferos marinos. Adem\u00e1s de todo esto, influye en el clima en tierra y podemos encontrar diferentes tipos de bosques dependiendo de si estamos al norte o al sur de la costa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todas estas grandes y microrregiones y climas generan alrededor de 90 ecosistemas y mega biodiversidad que no se encuentra en otros pa\u00edses de su tama\u00f1o. Hay alrededor de 1.690 especies de aves, 4.000 especies de orqu\u00eddeas, 450 especies de mam\u00edferos, 650 especies de anfibios, 2.200 especies de mariposas... entre muchos otros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La pol\u00edtica en Ecuador es multipartidista y la Asamblea est\u00e1 formada por representantes de varios de estos partidos y movimientos pol\u00edticos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Electricidad<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En Ecuador, el voltaje com\u00fan es de 120 V.
