Ready to explore new horizons in Ecuador?
Good news! Recently, the Ministry of Tourism and Iberia airline signed a Letter of Intent to strengthen and promote air connectivity from Europe to Ecuador. This means that traveling to this beautiful country will be easier and more accessible for European travelers.
At the FITUR 2023 international fair, the head of Tourism of Ecuador, Niels Olsen, and the directors of Iberia, Víctor Moneo and Isabel Orozco, signed this agreement to work together to promote Ecuador as a destination and generate greater visibility of its tourist offer before the world. As of January 2023, Ecuador has a direct operation with Spain of 13 weekly frequencies and 20 weekly frequencies with Europe in general.
Iberia is making a big bet on Ecuador and its promotion as a tourist destination in Europe, and the renewal of this agreement shows its commitment. In addition, improving the connectivity between Quito and Guayaquil with Spain will positively impact the internationalization of Ecuadorian companies and the arrival of new tourists.
The National Government and private companies are working together to make Ecuador an accessible tourist destination for travelers from all over the world.
